New and Improved Ranked System
2026-03-10 00:00:00 -
I am glad to be able to introduce you to our entirely reworked competitive matchmaking and ranked system.
I have designed the new fragMount ELO algorithm to measure actual round-winning impact. If you hard carry a game, you climb faster. If you are a team player, your impact is recognized.
Here is everything to know about the new ELO system.
Starting today, ELO will be reset and everyone will begin at 1000 ELO (Gold Nova II).
For a win, you gain a base +25 ELO (you also lose 25 for a loss). You will gain more or less ELO depending on your performance, as well as the average ELO of your team and the enemy team.
Round differential is another stat taken into account when calculating ELO gain/loss. For example: a 16-0 win will result in a higher elo gain than 16-14.
You will also gain/lose extra ELO depending on win or loss streaks.
Performance rating is calculated based on our new fragMount Rating (fMR) algorithm. It calculates your rating depending on your actual impact towards winning the game for your team.
Our algorithm acknowledges:
-Economic impact of kills (Kills against a full-buy while on eco are weighted higher, anti-eco kills are weighted lower, for example.)
-Entry frags/traded deaths. Entry fraggers serve an important role in creating space for their team, so their impact is acknowledged.
-Clutch kills. Any 1vX situation.
-Multi kills (2K, 3K, 4K, 5K)
-KAST (Kills, Assists, Survived, Traded Death)
BALANCED TEAM/ANTISTACK SYSTEM
A lot of players recently have been complaining about having to play unfair games against 4/5 stacks putting them at a huge communication deficit.
Starting today, we will have random teams (based on average ELO) in matchmaking to make games fairer. You will be permitted to stack with selected players during the !setup period using these new commands:
!duo [player] (e.g. !duo albo)
!trio [p1] [p2] (e.g. !trio albo maknae)
!quad [p1] [p2] [p3] (e.g. !quad albo maknae szymi)
!5stack [p1] [p2] [p3] [p4] (e.g. !5stack albo maknae szymi angel)
Then the player either types: !acceptstack / !rejectstack (!acceptduo and !rejectduo still work as aliases for anyone who played while we were testing!)
Trios and 4/5 stacks will have their ELO gain penalized while solo/duo players opposing them will not lose as much if they suffer a loss to a stack.
