22 Mar 2026 -
Welcome to the ninth update of the beta!
Glad you’ve made it this far.
Boii have we been working on stuff.
The New Coordinator
Bye fragNet,
Welcome in, larkMt.
larkMt. is the new coordinator that is here to stay.
Written by me in a hurry, it has the following features on release:
Client2GCHello // Signing in
Profile Info (Ranks, Level, Coins)
Viewable Inventory
Case Opening
Equipping Items
Cosmetic Live Games
Watch Tab (Recent PUGs)
Commending Others
Sticker Application
Reporting Others
We will release other features thru tumbleweed updates thru-out the next week.
Known Issues that will be fixxed in said updates:
Pricesheet not appearing
Sticker Scraping not implemented
Name Tags not in inventory
Additionally, we have a new junior developer to welcome,
hello @LIMITED TIL THE 24TH!
They will mainly be working on the maintenance on the coordinator,
searching for any eureka moments and slimming down corners on
the new coordinator. Golang GC soon...
And a very late welcome (oops) to @koolbar2000 joining the
team as a senior developer!
Koolych will be here to help maintain the game servers and the upcoming
launcher.
Missions
Missions are returning!
Daily Rotation: Players get 3 active missions that expire every 24 hours.
Tracking: Monitors everything from kills and headshots to bomb plants and even killing chickens.
Persistence: Progress is saved to the database so players can pick up where they left off.
Rewards: Completing missions gives drops! (receiving requiring the match to be finished before the reward is granted)
For now, they are connected to drops.
Next week, we will either shift them to money or... to operation missions.
Spooky.
Incoming Collections...
In REDACTED for the Major, we’ll be REDACTED some new collections.
I’m all out of space here.
Replace the csgo_gc.dll in your /csgo_gc/ folder, in your root too.
Back up your older .dll.

DMCA for fragNet - what next?
17 Mar 2026 -
# fragNet will be discontinued on the 22nd of March 2026. #
Due to an unexpected contract void, we are no longer **legally** permitted to use our fork of the ClassicCouner GC, known as fragNet.
Unfortunately, on Sunday we will have to bid our coordinator farewell.
Beginning 22/03/26, at 19:45 GMT+00:00, fragNet servers will be shut down, and will **no longer respond** to legacy clients.
Attempting to launch fragNet** v1.00-v1.38 **exectutables will result in a game freeze, and in-game actions will no longer function.
This does not affect your ability to play on our PUG servers.
We have been given a grace period to obey the DMCA complaint of 6 days.
In this time, I’ll be rushing to create a new coordinator from the ground up.
Thankfully, this will be plausible as we have been permitted to keep the;
> GC Client Code, minus certain unused headers
> The protobufs – the meat, the messages the game uses.
Therefore, we should be getting our new coordinator, up with basic features including;
> Sign-in/Hello
> Inventory View
> Item Equip
> Sticker Application
> Item Renaming
> Case Opening (incl. Capsules)
> Operation Testing in beta
up by Saturday, 21st March 2026.
The following features you’ve become used to on the legacy coordinator;
> Watch Tab (Viewing recent PUGs)
> Commending
> Rank View
> Sticker Scraping
> Reporting
will become functional again thru tumbleweed updates following the next week.
With this new coordinator comes new opportunities.
Since I know I’m writing it from the ground up, I’ll probably FOSS the repo as soon as I complete the basic features.
Ollum’s stuff was a mess... and whoever did the networking, was propping it up for failure.
The new coordinator will not be using Steam Networking.
Instead, there will be direct connections to the Coordinator via TCP.
It will be **far** more stable, and it will be the key to earn contributor status.
I’m running out of space, that’s pretty much the gist of it.
frytt’s out, peace.
New and Improved Ranked System
10 Mar 2026 -
I am glad to be able to introduce you to our entirely reworked competitive matchmaking and ranked system.
I have designed the new fragMount ELO algorithm to measure actual round-winning impact. If you hard carry a game, you climb faster. If you are a team player, your impact is recognized.
Here is everything to know about the new ELO system.
Starting today, ELO will be reset and everyone will begin at 1000 ELO (Gold Nova II).
For a win, you gain a base +25 ELO (you also lose 25 for a loss). You will gain more or less ELO depending on your performance, as well as the average ELO of your team and the enemy team.
Round differential is another stat taken into account when calculating ELO gain/loss. For example: a 16-0 win will result in a higher elo gain than 16-14.
You will also gain/lose extra ELO depending on win or loss streaks.
Performance rating is calculated based on our new fragMount Rating (fMR) algorithm. It calculates your rating depending on your actual impact towards winning the game for your team.
Our algorithm acknowledges:
-Economic impact of kills (Kills against a full-buy while on eco are weighted higher, anti-eco kills are weighted lower, for example.)
-Entry frags/traded deaths. Entry fraggers serve an important role in creating space for their team, so their impact is acknowledged.
-Clutch kills. Any 1vX situation.
-Multi kills (2K, 3K, 4K, 5K)
-KAST (Kills, Assists, Survived, Traded Death)
BALANCED TEAM/ANTISTACK SYSTEM
A lot of players recently have been complaining about having to play unfair games against 4/5 stacks putting them at a huge communication deficit.
Starting today, we will have random teams (based on average ELO) in matchmaking to make games fairer. You will be permitted to stack with selected players during the !setup period using these new commands:
!duo [player] (e.g. !duo albo)
!trio [p1] [p2] (e.g. !trio albo maknae)
!quad [p1] [p2] [p3] (e.g. !quad albo maknae szymi)
!5stack [p1] [p2] [p3] [p4] (e.g. !5stack albo maknae szymi angel)
Then the player either types: !acceptstack / !rejectstack (!acceptduo and !rejectduo still work as aliases for anyone who played while we were testing!)
Trios and 4/5 stacks will have their ELO gain penalized while solo/duo players opposing them will not lose as much if they suffer a loss to a stack.

The Dust Collection Update
07 Mar 2026 -
I’m glad to announce the first set of fixes I’ve been working on related to the servers!
Adding flashboosts and refining the movement has been my priority for a few days now. I believe that nailing the old feel of the game is extremely important. I’m glad to present you with the new changes that have been tested and approved by members of our community. They really do feel great. While at it, I decided to fix the drop pool on the server.
Patchnotes:
-Added all of the cases into the drop pool
-Added the Dust Collection into the drop pool
-Added flashboosting
-Reverted movement back to pre October 2014 movement update
Moving forward, I’d like to give a sneak peek at changes that we as a team have been working on:
-New, refined map pool
-Better ELO ranking system
-Fixes and improvements to the website
-Fixes to scope-in speed
and much more...
I believe those changes will affect the project in a positive manner, through providing a strong backbone for the project moving forward.
